Pixel pitch refers to the distance between each group of red, green and blue LEDs that comprise a single pixel. In screens using 3 LEDs, dot pitch and pixel pitch are the same. In screens using 4, they are sometimes different due to a technique used to increase the perceived resolution of the screen called "pixel sharing" or "virtual pixel". In this technique, a "new" pixel is created by sharing 2 colours from the pixel on either side
